NOD32 offers the most for the least amount of cash. It is a feature rich option for the price. ESET makes a statement that NOD32 is the best antivirus package for a reasonable price. ESET can’t go wrong with NOD32.

The only blemish is ESETs unfamiliarity with the Mac platform. Users of Apple computers have to opt-in to NOD32 support in the first place, and then download a proprietary installer.

Norton 360 Deluxe takes ESETs approach even further. For a single-license price, you get an eight-device family pack. By joining ESETs secure network, you get online virus definition and threat updates as they become available. Norton offers no online features in its Windows antivirus, although it does have an antivirus download area.

Is a new version of NOD32 Smart Security available in the ESET archives? Yes, though you’d never know it. What youll find instead is a change in the branding. The only other notable improvement is a fix for a problem with the program’s audio warnings for attacks.
