What’s new in CyberLink Director Suite 365 v10.0?

The application is extremely reliable. It starts quickly, runs quietly, and plays back media smoothly. There are now two performance levels: Basic and Advanced. CyberLink has simplified the controls from four to two. There are now just Color Range and Denoise controls. You can now add more than one color key, too. I tried this with an orange and gray background and with a yellow and gray background. These color choices showed me why pros use green: The orange background keyed out my subject’s lips, and it was harder to get the correct mask.

If you already own CyberLink Director Suite, it’s now cross-compatible with the upcoming DirectShow 10.0 update, which means you get new features for free. It has 10-bit AVC and H.264 support, too. The Pro Suite version has it all. There is still no cross-compatibility between the DOS and Windows versions, however.
